Most don't know that horses are used as a symbol for angels, since for many years they were the servants of men.

Also interestingly there is a group that thinks in concepts of 'the knights' were the only people on horse back, or terms of jousting and concepts like that, where having a horse in battle was devastating for an opponent, and advantages to the person working with a horse.

So that phrase is interesting.



The question should be looking at the actions of the horse, is it of free will or by coercive control where it should be freed. It could be that knocking the person off the horse is enough, since the horse don't like many of them that use coercion either.

But a fascinating topic on many things.
