1. I'll bet having all those giant cameras on the freeway caused the accident. |
|
It's all fun and games until someone gets run over by an 18 wheeler.

I refuse to believe that there was an accident in Maryland and there were NO drivers on the opposite side slowing down to rubberneck. This must've happened at 6am on a Sunday.

3. Actually, when you zoom out you will see that exact thing happening on the |
|
other side.
The accident is on the southbound I-95 lanes at exit 41 (Rt. 175)
The picture was taken on a Monday.

4. oh, that is so photoshopped. |
|
There is so much visible pavement, no bumper-to-bumper vehicles, the norm for I-95, much less during an ACCIDENT.
What kind of yokels do you think we are?
and not a toll-booth in sight ....

5. There are no toll booths in MD on I-95, and certainly not at Rt. 175. |

6. oh, yes there are.... $5 a pop .... |

These are the toll booths that don't slow you up too much. Northbound I-95, between the Maryland and Chesapeake rest areas.
it doesn't slow up like the Delaware toll booths a few miles to the north.

7. Well, that's new since I last traveled that segment. But I was just through the 175 area. |
|
No toll booths. I took I-95 N from Rt. 32 to Rt. 195 (on the way to BWI) on the 10th of this month. I also grew up in that area.

8. There are also the Baltimore tunnel tolls |
|
I-95, I-495, and I-895, $2 for each, both directions.
I take 32 all the time when I head north on 95.

9. If you plug latitude & longtitude into Google Earth, you get exactly that picture |
|
Zoom out and south-bound traffic is a parking lot for two or three miles behind the accident, all being squeezed into one HOV lane to pass the accident. There's a slowdown in north-bound traffic for half a mile or so approaching the accident, consistent with north-bound traffic gawking as they go below the underpass
