Some don't think it's possible, but there are those out there who love cats far, FAR too much. |

3. As far as I am concerned, being a cat is a status crime. |
|
Sort of like being a vagrant.
Sorry, I am a dog person. And I'm allergic to them as well as cats.

5. If the fur is a problem, you might be able to get a Chinese Crested. |
|
They have a Chihuahua's body & no fur -- just a little tuft of hair on the head & ears, some on the tip of the tail. :)

A friend of mine has a Boston Terrier that I love but she makes me cry. Have to take decongestants and antihistamines and cortisone.
I have bathed the dog when she was with me and that helps a lot. However, her owners are oblivious, because they smoke. We stayed with them for almost a week & just got back a couple of days ago. We could not handle the physical or mental stress of the kitchen clutter, the roaches, the general filth level or the fact that the couple smokes. And they have a 35 year old autistic daughter who steals all the bar soap, the liquid soap, the laundry soap, and steals it and uses it up in the bathtub. So we had to hide our soap and lock our bedroom door so the girl wouldn't root through our stuff.
I was so fatigued from my body fighting my allergies that the evening that I got home, I slept for seventeen hours straight.
And that was while I was taking antihistamines, decongestants and cortisone, and I was taking an antibiotic for a preemptive strike, so I wouldn't get bronchitis from being around smokers.
It's not worth it. Back to the Marriott for the next trip.

7. Personally, I think the dog people are much weirder than us cat people. |
