8. When I first went on-line I shyly posted on...
a chat board on one of those on-line 'games' sites.
Someone posted something in the chat and I responded.
They immediately responded to my post with a LOL and I thought
I might have posted inappropriately or something
I thought LOL meant Log Off-Line...
So I did.

19. Last time I went anywhere around there, we started off from central Pennsylvania at midnight

and drove through a developing blizzard to Ann Arbor MI. As the sun came up, my friend was driving through an almost completely featureless white landscape, between two fencelines. I said, Where's the road? She said, See the fences? It's halfway between the fences! Don't worry! I've driven this stretch many times!

I have no idea how anybody could ever actually find a lake in those parts, with all that white powder on the ground
