It's my wedding anniversary-ask me anything! |
In 1990, my husband and I had our spiritual wedding at the Falafel House in Arlington TX. Half our friends thought we were fooling because of the date; the others were an hour early because of the time change! The local Muslim community came 'round because they couldn't figure out what was going on at the restaurant on a Sunday during Ramadan. We had the Universal Worship service, and one Egyptian-American told us that if it became popular, there could be no more war. The nicest gift we ever got.

1. Congratulations and wishes for more years of happiness. What have you |
learned from your marriage that has most affected your life or your outlook on priorities in life?

2. The most important thing |
is to let your partner be himself, and to support him as he grows emotionally and spiritually. (And he does the same with me). As we grow older, and the infirmities of disease and aging come upon us, we've also learned a bit about patience.

3. That's very wise. Passion and youth fade. Your values will endure and |
give you the strength to face challenges and joys of your lives.
Peace and best wishes to you and your Beloved.
