I was never 'sposed to Sabbath in my yoof, but this fits perfectly with my collection of MC5, Stooges, Bowie/Ronson, Queen... also some Joy Division in this?
Off to explore early Sabbath tonight, stupid neighbors be damned... Thanks for this.

i was a teenage stoner/skatepunk from 1982 through 1987.

Kind of awesome trivia fact: that doomy guitar sound started because Tony Iommi lost the tips of some of his fingers in a factory accident when he was 17. He made himself prosthetic tips and tuned the strings down to make it easier to play with them on.
Where would metal be without that?
