3. Many I know seem to like either Careerbuilder or Indeed
A basic Google search turned up ihiresecretarial.com, which allows a search by state and does include listings for executive assistants. I don't know a thing about this site, though.

Another option, if it's available in your area, is to get your foot in the door by way of a temp service. That has led to permanent positions for me in the past.

2. I've always had good results with both Monster and HotJobs
I've also used DICE, but that's more IT Techy type jobs

4. There is a hidden job market. Go through the telephone book and pick the places
where you'd like to work. Get a list of at least 100, maybe twice that. Call each place and get their address, the name of the hiring manager. Do a huge mail merge and send out an awesome cover letter. Send them out and wait. Sometimes personel managers cannot be bothered to go through the usual posting of jobs when they have resumes in their files already. Good luck.
