Don't trust your lyin' eyes...great optical illusions video

by a Japanese artist/engineer. It's about 13 minutes long, sort of repetitive, but some are mind-blowing.

If nothing else, start with the ramps at about 7:30 in the video.

2. Glad you liked it. Even after I saw how he did it, I still couldn't
figure out how he did it. Your eyes/brain just don't want to believe.

4. You expect the openings to be square.
They are actually shorter on one side and longer on the other, which gets you to think they are not at an angle when viewed without 3d.

It is using what your mind usually sees, to set a pattern when seeing something else. Since your mind sees more squares, it assumes the orientation angle from that assumption.

Pretty simple.
