It is 68 here today and the windows are open with my curtains blowing back and forth. |

I just love watching the curtains, my neighbor lady made the curtains for me.
I was digging around a old box and found some material I had bought years ago.
The material was in a ziplock bag and in great shape.
The curtains are blue and have flying witches on brooms with full moons in the background.
Airing out the house because a cold front is coming this week.

Ah, now that sounds really lovely...
I love your curtains!
It's sunny here for the moment; it's been raining today, and more is predicted for later this afternoon. It'll be gone by tomorrow.
I need to get out and shop for dinner before that rain gets here!
Enjoy your day!

2. We have a really cold, cold front coming from the north. |
|
The nights will be below 32, need to cover the few plants I have left.
I don't know how I forgot about this material.
The material also has glow in the dark white stars, way cool.
Have a great day Peggy.

3. I just heard about your cold coming. We in New Englnd are in for |
|
another blizzard. I don't understand this winter. One storm after another. Weird weather everywhere. I'm done. We have more snow already now than for any average winter and have two months to go. Nasty stuff.

4. Y'all are getting buried up there. |

This cold front will bring night temps to the about 25, poor plants and animals.
This will be for 3 nights, so says Weatherbug.
Need to wash the long underwear.
Y'all stay warm.

High around 25 Monday, with snow, sleet and ice storms predicted Tuesday night and all day Wednesday... My sister lives in League City, TX-she had to wear a sweatshirt once, but that was a few years ago...

6. I love wearing sweat pants and shirts. |
|
It can get nippy here, for us anyway.
The outside water bowl for the animals froze at least twice so far and it is a deep bowl.
My neighbor lost some plants last cold front, didn't think it was cold enough to cover.
I like the cold weather when we get it.
I don't like it when it gets below 32, pets, pipes and plants suffer.

11. I have been in that kind of weather, the wind chill. |
|
I was in Washington DC for a anti-war protest, the high was like 20 during the day.
I have no idea what it was that night we walked to the Hi-Hop for dinner.
Seemed like a good idea at the time, only a few blocks away from the hotel.
We were a frozen bunch of Texans when we reach the Hi-Hop.

14. I quit covering my plants - survival of the fittest around here! |
|
I live south of San Antonio. It gets cold enough to freeze water in the smallish fountain and we always have our faucets covered. Don't unserstand why people take the stuff off and then have to go on a mad dash to buy insulating foam.
Had to turn on the AC yesterday.

7. Even here in Tucson, we're looking at some cold weather (for us). |
|
. . . Highs for today and the next 4 days: . S-74 M-58 T-61 W-50 Th-57 . Lows: . S-43 M-34 T-28 W-23 Th-27 . . . . We're used to seeing days around 70 degrees and, although it DOES cool down considerably at night (no cloud cover/no humidity), we USUALLY stay above freezing -- plant-covering days are relatively rare. . . .

10. That is a warm front for y'all. |
|
Down here we have this thin southern blood.
I do enjoy the cold.
Hope y'all can warm up soon.
Our houses down here couldn't take the weather y'all have.
All our pipes would burst.

Just funning. Had my chances to move and said no. Some winters are just nastier than others, like this one for instance.
