Are you envious of certain camaraderies among posters here?

I think this is clearly a sign I am spending too much time here... But there is this certain poster I really admire. I'd really like to be his pal. And there is this other poster who is really chummy with him -- They say good morning and good evening regularly. And I just realized this morning that I was jealous of her! So is that the silliest thing you've heard, or what? :eyes:

It's not as though friendships are like pieces of a pie; the more there is for someone else, the less there is for you. They spring from an abundant sources.

I'm lucky enough that the people I admire and enjoy most seem to find my company pleasant and spend their time and energy on me.

What I'm envious of is all the time that some posters seem to have to spend at DU visiting and opining and waxing comical.

Yeah there is a little cliquishness here, but not enough fights between the cliques to make life here feel TOO much like junior high. Obviously the "young DUers who chat" should pick a fight with "MATCOM and all his little buddies." That would make life JUST like junior high! (Good God, I'm joking, more junior high is the last thing I need!)
