ugh. Apparently liberals are a target audience for Yanni music |
|
Just heard an ad for "Pure Moods" on AirAmerica. Featuring the soothing sounds of Yanni, Jim Brickman, and more.
I want to support the AA advertisers, but what do they want from me? Blood?

2. Nah, just your money... |
|
...I was surprised to find Sarah McLachlan lumped in together with the rest of them, although her most recent soporific releases might account for that.

3. If this were a PBS station... |
|
I would assume it was a fund drive, and that someone would have to donate money else they would keep playing Yanni.
"Donate now! Stop the torture!"

5. I went through my Jim Brickman phase. And then I got out of it. |
|
The music is boring...but he is eye candy, that's for sure.

6. Next it will be Zanfir and his pan flute... |
|
I always lumped all of that stuff together. I cannot relate how someone would actually pay money for it, I must say.

7. If John Kerry ever hosts an event in which Yanni is present |
|
either in person or through his "music," I will vote for George W. Bush.
I can't say I have much use for Bush, but Yanni is a crime against humanity.

...really great classical pianist I have to interject that Yanni's sheet music looks like "Basic Piano Chords- Volume 0ne" He may appeal to some folks but frankly, He doesn't do very much.

I have this uncle who's a total righty c**t. He lives out in Livingston, which is deep in the East Texas pine forests. He hides his money somewhere secret on his property to avoid taxes and banks, has a haircut that hasn't changed since the late '70s, is a total country redneck and a horrible racist, and speaks with 75% expletives. So you can imagine my surprise when he came to Houston soely to see...Yanni. I mean...Yanni. Yanni? Isn't that kind of...you know...iffy?
