meet Meagan.....our new baby Wombat

....ain't she sweet? she's put on a lot of weight lately with the high grubworm content formula we've been feeding her. in about a year, she'll be about 70 lbs, and hopefully hooking up with our male stud wombat, brian. there's nothing cuter than a hairless wormy looking baby wombat under your christmas tree, except possibly the reaction on your child's face when he sees it for the first time.

oooh...meagan and brian seem to be hitting it off swimmingly. now we at least know that brian is a hetero wombat. we we're beginning to worry, since we have invested so much in our new wombat farm.
order your baby wombats early to avoid the easter and christmas rush.

we are currently looking into the possibility of training certain pups as 'seeing eye wombats', which causes us some consternation, considering the terrible tragedies that ensued from our doomed 'seeing eye kangaroo' research.

3. Hey, wombats are WILD ANIMALS!
Although wombats, especially young ones, look cute and are affectionate, full grown they can be aggressive, threatening, and even dangerous. Wombats are wild animals, not domesticated pets, and as such should be left in the wild where they belong. In most places in Australia, wombats are protected and it's illegal to keep them as pets.

Wombats need special care and a special diet. They're extremely strong and can be very destructive. They can tear holes in fences, doors, and even walls. There's not much that will stop a wombat other than concrete or steel.

As a wombat grows and matures, it becomes less and less friendly, and increasingly hostile and unpredictable. They have sufficient strength and speed to be dangerous.
