bmp. to jpeg or gif.?

does anyone know how to change a bmp. fiLe to a jpeg or gif.?

as my avatar on other boards. i couLdn't get it to upLoad here, so i assume it's bmp. issue? any heLp wouLd be appreciated.

You should be able to find any number of conversion tools there. As well as a bunch of other stuff.

10. The easiest way is MS Paint - just open & save as jpg

You can also save as gif, but the colors will probably look bad.

If you have Windows, you should be able to find it on your computer:
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\MSPAINT.EXE
