I'VE HAD IT!

My cell mate is a very nice woman, but I have freaking HAD IT with her rasser frasser cell phone and her rasser frasser spritzer deodorant sprays!

Her cell phone ring tone is "Edelweiss" -- which my dear cell mate probably prefers to think of as a Christian praise song (there are such words to the tune). The volume is set so high that I'm surprised my eardrums haven't shattered. She keeps it at that level all the time. She frequently leaves her desk for extended periods, leaving me to cover my ears (I'm not kidding) until the ringing stops.

And these sprays! Twice a day, once in the morning, once after lunch, she spritzes herself with these scented deodorant body sprays -- under her blouse and on the soles of her feet. I wouldn't care so much but the spray makes its way over to me and it's nearly as choking as hair spray.

Yes. I have commented, gently, on both annoyances, to no avail.

as in, we don't think he takes a shower! So it could always be worse.:o

Reminds me of the show I catch bits of off comedy central where this really obnoxious guy screams into his cell phone REALLY loudly.

Next time she leaves it out and it starts ringing, hide it. :)


As for the sprays, dunno... maybe a nose clip like swimmers wear?

Y'know, I'm sure I do some things that just drive her up the wall too, but I don't know what they are and she's too polite to say anything. I know I don't stink. And neither does she -- that's why I don't get the spritzer crap. :shrug:

Problem nicely solved.

I had a coworker at a previous job who always left her cell phone on the loudest ring, and left it on her desk, despite numorous complaints from others.

One day the phone took a bath in her coffeecup, and shuffled off its mortal coil.

Strangely, nobody seemed to see the vandal who did this to her phone...

perfume I feel for you. :( Perhaps you could grab the phone and mute it?? I don't know, I'm not good at these kinds of things...I usually sit and stew and get really freaking annoyed and go home with a headache.
