2. The modern-era Quicksilver Messenger Service...
...which is really nothing more than founding member Gary Duncan and a backup band...performs this live (it's on the "Live At Fieldstone" CD). It's interesting hearing a guitar voicing of some of the keyboard parts...it's pretty much a 50-50 guitar / keyboard split. Duncan uses a heavy (maybe a bit too heavy) dose of chorus on his guitar. It wouldn't make anyone forget the Hancock version, but it does pull you in and hold your attention for its 15 minute length.
