DU cat fans...can you help?

Anybody here have any experience of successful treatment of a cat's meningeal tumor?

My 8/9 year old Maine Coon has just been diagnosed after a very sudden, unexpected onset. He's in the Kitty Hospital with a suspected meningeal brain tumor.

He's having mannitol to reduce fluid build-up (good results) plus steroids and cat chemo to reduce the growth.

The other treatment option I have been given is surgery.

I reckon the UK lags behind cutting edge veterinary care in comparison with the USA.

Has anybody had any experience of successful treatment, maybe still in its early days?

I'd really appreciate any feedback you guys might have!

So sorry to hear about your kitty. Maybe some of the other US vet schools could help too? There is a DU'er here too who is a vet that specializes in cats I think. I will PM you.
