How y'all doin tonight?
Me and Jen are hanging out here listening to some high school basketball on the radio. Richmond is playing for the sectional championship tonight in division 4A. Basketball is big here in Indiana at every level.

It's been a long time since I've checked in with you guys. I've been very busy with the new job and all. I got my CDL switched over to Indiana and had to take a few tests to do that. I also registered to vote at that time. It's all a part of my evil plan to turn Indiana into a blue state. It's probably going to take a lot more than me to get the job done, but it's a start. :)

But I am officially a hoosier. I think back to mid October when I first started talking to Jen and I never dreamed that I would be sitting here now living with her and engaged to be married. She says that as soon as she saw me in person for the first time she knew that I was the man that she was going to marry. My expectations weren't as high, but I knew we had a chance after the first date.

We got to know each other really well in a short amount of time and we have both dramatically changed each other's lives. So much so that last October seems so long ago, like it was a different lifetime. We have made each other better people. I hope you all are doing well.

3. She was taking the basic first two years before she quit.
She's from Carthage IN originally.

She wanted to be a lawyer but now she argues with me.

Glad to see that things seem to be going well for ya. Things have been pretty good here also. Sorry to see you leave Ohio, but maybe Indiana needs you. Take care

5. My dear Tobin!
Hey, it's great to have you checking in...

I've been wondering what you were up to and how things were going. I'm glad to see you're having fun!

If you haven't seen the movie "Hoosiers" then you need to! It's a classic basketball flick. One of my big time favs.

Good luck turning Indiana blue!

And hi to Jen!

:hi:

8. Jen says hi. She's a little down because Richmond lost, but she's alright
I haven't seen "Hoosiers" but I did go to see Rudy Rutteiger, the real Rudy that the movie "Rudy" was based on, with my future father-in-law a few weeks ago. He's a motivational speaker now. That was pretty cool. I'll have to check out "Hoosiers." Gene Hackman is one of my favorites.

10. hey Tobin!
good to see you

I sat around all day while other people worked today. The guy that has been helping here came to do some welding on a bull-proof holding pen and brough his daughter to help so I just goofed around on the computer all day. Feeling a little guilty but what the hey? I will put in a fence day tomorrow if the wind isn't too bad.

11. Glad to hear all is going well for the two of you.
You sound like my husband and I when we married 7 mos. after meeting in an on-line chat 14 years ago. You are right about it feeling like it's a different lifetime. In many ways it really is.

I wish you both all the happiness you deserve.

13. Hey Tobin
Great to hear how happy you and Jen are.

Your account of your new life reminds me of when I met Mr. Yankeepants 21 years ago. We just knew it was right and started a life together. It's still wonderful.

All best,
YPs

15. Hi Tobin. You sound comfy and happy!
I'm kicking back and bouncing among reading, watching Mardi Gras parades online and watching random tv. Back to work tomorrow...
