Poll question: Word to describe those of us with more weight
We've likely heard them all, but what word do you despise for those with a "few extra pounds" on? And I know I'm forgetting some of the more insulting ones, so feel free to add your own.

1. Heavyset
P.S. Any of the above are, in my estimation, preferable to the anorexic supermodel look. :loveya:

2. "Fluffy"
There's a comedian called Gabriel Iglesias who does a whole bit on the words attached to levels of being overweight: big, healthy, husky, fluffy, and Daaayum! Later he amended it to add another level -- "Oh HELL no!"

19. So I guess a single word would be "Ablative". Describe my physique as ablative in nature.

7. my friend weighs about 300 pounds...
I used to think "heavy" would be the least offensive. But she said no, she prefers to be called "fat".

Sometimes when she is walking, people in cars shout at her. Even women do.

Isn't that disgusting!

23. The more there is, the more there is to love
Either plus-sized, or queen- or king-sized.

Plus-sized is my favorite, as opposed to those minus-sized toothpicks the media idealizes as beauty.

Fat is beautiful; skinny is a sign of either an eating disorder or drug addiction.
