Man drank, swore, urinated at 'Rango' screening

Timothy W. Elvester, of Aitkin, Minn., was charged in Sauk County Circuit Court with vandalism and disorderly conduct after he allegedly drank alcohol, used profane language and urinated inside the theater.

According to a criminal complaint, "Rango" was put on hold so Elvester could be arrested.

According to the complaint, the theater manager called Lake Delton police at 2:25 p.m. to handle a "very intoxicated" man who drinking liquor from a pint bottle and refusing to leave.

The manager said he had received several complaints about Elvester swearing during the movie and after he was told to leave.

The staff told police Elvester had urinated on the theater floor and two seats in front of him and had fallen on the stairs. Officers found him lying face-down on the stairs with a cut on his head. The movie was stopped so officers could pull Elvester from the theater, which was reportedly about 90 percent full.
