The real Wisconsin is outside the capital walls and, much as it abso-fucking-lutely kills me to say it, in Illinois.

Walker represents merely the shitty 10% of Wisconsin that's always been there, who wouldn't be in power right now except for an absolute fluke that in 2010 the dems had a lot of control and much of the country simply voted "the folks in charge haven't fixed things, so I'm voting for the other guys, no matter how fucking unqualified or knee-jerk unthinking reactionary they are".

Sure, legally, Wisconsin is going in a shitty direction - but holy shit, the REAL Wisconsin his risen up in protests, LTTEs, open letters from clergy groups, unions, and other groups, and everything else.

Walker is fucking doomed, plain and simple. Absolutely fucking doomed.

And I know for a fact (not footnotable, though) that Walker had delusions that he'd be handpicked to run for president against Obama and that he'd sweep the country with a Reagan-in-1984 sweep. Arrogant fucking prick.

Now he'll be lucky if, after he's forced to resign, any apartment co-ops will even let him buy a mop closet.
