LEE COUNTY: The famous "Girls Gone Wild" film crew didn't capture quite the spring break video it was hoping for on Fort Myers Beach Wednesday.

The large and colorful tour bus was kicked out of Fort Myers Beach only minutes after it pulled up.

The company came to the beach looking to film videos of young women on spring break for its popular adult DVD series. Women sometimes take off their tops for the camera.

Fort Myers Beach code enforcement officers asked the bus and its crew to leave, saying they didn't apply in advance for a special events permit.

The crew wasn't happy. Two men stormed out of the bus and started videotaping the officers plus the NBC2 crew on scene.

"I'll have Lee County Sheriff's Office remove you, not a problem," said Fort Myers Beach Code Enforcement Officer Shane Hidle.

"Girls Gone Wild" eventually left the area without a problem.
