6. I haven't tried that for a very long time now.
Hey we both have black cats on are Avatar page. My cat is named Jet, as you might have guessed. He is 9 months old, from a rescue. I have a 6 year old named Bud. I got him with my apartment last May. They are great friends, right from the beginning last November. :bounce:

7. Love black cats. Most all cats really. I have one, not black

she's all kinds of mixed up colors, but her legs are striped like a tabby, with a white face. Rescued her from a friend who was going to set her loose in the woods after taking her from under his porch as a kitten. She's crazy. I mean, she growls and stuff. My last cat, loved that cat, a tux, was so docile. All he wanted was a lap to curl up in. This one has taken some getting used to. She won't let me pick her up without a big fuss. Won't sit in my lap. Loves to turn her butt to me and have me scratch her back, though. And she loves to curl up in my arms when I'm on the computer. Some kind of order from high command to interfere with my typing. She's a sweetie though. I really want to put her outside because she wants it so bad, but she'll run, I know it. Need some kind of kennel or something.

Here she is, she's a little fatter now:

That is a great description of her. How old is she, what is her name? My cats interfere when I'm on the computer too. But each of them are a little more user friendly then your cat... I think.

9. I guess she's like 2 now.
Her official name at the vet's office is "new kitty." I've temporarily named her Cooper, but it doesn't really matter because I still call her kitty. And if I say it enough times she'll show up.

When I first took her in, she would jump, and I mean jump, floor to mantle, floor to countertop to fridge. She'd walk on the narrow backs of my dining room charrs. She's got a little weight on her now so she's not quite as agile.

She makes me feel like I'm just not providing her with the entertainment or exercise she needs, and I hate that this cat that is full of energy has to put up with my lethargic self. I brought in a kitten my sis had found in a grocery store parking lot a few months back, but she would have little of it. Maybe I didn't give it long enough. I found that kitten a great home and let him go.

I normally, or abnormally, sleep on my sofa, and she will jump up there with me and curl up between my legs once I'm settled, and sleep with me. Just a change from my last/first cat. My God, that boy would fall asleep on my shoulders, loved to be held. I guess I got a kinda wild one now. Instead of seeking out my lap she'll run through the house growling. At what I have no idea.

11. All cats, and humans, have a distinct personality.

I'm grateful to Jet and Bud for helping me through the pain of my girlfriend break-up. If it wasn't for their attention and love, this would have been nearly unbearable. I hope that Kitty (Cooper) will provide that kind of love for you too. :bounce: I love the "bounce".
