Why do people think it's ok...
to bring their children to your house and let them run wild. Running in one door and out another, running up and down the steps, hiding behind furniture. Leaving doors open, and the parents act like they don't see it. WTF?! I never let my kids behave like that at our home much less someone else's.

Very disrespectful.

I gave the parents a chance to say something, when they didn't, I did. I just don't understand why parents would put someone in that position. Mind your children.

because the parents weren't raised properly?
because the parents could care less about teaching their children respect and manners--that's the schools job!

i don't know but it drives me crazy. it's happened to me too. i hate having to act like the parent when the "real" parents are in the room

maybe the kids are so out of control the parents figure they need to pick and choose their battles and they're saving it up for when they get home and the kids try to either burn down the house or kill the family pet. ???
