David H. Koch: for once, not being a dick?

Mr. Koch was the naming donor for the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History's Hall of Human Origins. I'm reading over the material http://popular-archaeology.com/issue/april-2011/article/what-does-it-mean-to-be-human and I can't really find anything wrong with the archaeology, with the possible exception of calling Neanderthals Homo neanderthalensis, and that's more of an open question than a controversy. However, there's nothing Bible-based, no mention of a Flood, nothing particularly crazy at all. It's openly pro-evolution (and isn't it depressing that one even has to mention such a thing in 2011?) I'm still totally creeped out that it's named after him, and it doesn't make me like him any better. But maybe there's a little diamond ring in the septic tank that is the Koch brothers. Thoughts?

And the consolidations of wealth are not there fault, it is an error in the system. Although they should learn of that error to help correct it.

2. The Koch bros give tons of $$$$ to cultural events and charitable causes.

It's one of the ways they've been able to hide their true evil: the gross polluting, the corporate bullying the total disregard for anyone who gets in their way. It's always fascinating to see sociopaths act like real people with real hearts, but when you scratch the surface there's always a self-serving agenda

9. Here's my 2 cents about what you've posted

First, even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Second, Koch brothers do seem to donate alot of money but usually towards organizations that provide entertainment whether it's the Ballet or the Smithsonian. Now I have no issue with those donations but what I rarely see is the Koch brothers making donations to organziations that help out the needy

Every day he does not repent of his plan to enslave workers is a day of being an asshole. It doesn't really matter that he's found a hobby that doesn't actually kill people.
