3. Mike Love's claims to anything except a few lyrics

have to be considered highly suspect. Brian Wilson was perhaps the single greatest genius in the history of rock & roll. John and Paul had each other and George Martin's wizardly production skills. Brian did it ALL by himself, with some help from a couple of lyricists.

4. Mike Love is a cousin, IIRC,and has written some lyrics for some songs, mostly as

a contributor. He has had periods of intense dislike and jealousy with Brian-as have many of the original family members of the BB's. I recommend any one interested read Brian's autobiography "Wouldn't It Be Nice",in which Brian tells about the early days, from grade school through 1990. It is a very good book and he does NOT spare himself.
All the brothers were abused by their father Murray Wilson, and they all had stormy relationships with each other through much of their later career...
It is really amazing to me that Brian,after all his drug abuse and years of terrible depression is the one remaining brother.

Mike Love is basically a singer who wrote several lines of several songs, which is fine, but Brian was the master composer and Carl contributed much more to the Beach Boy's sound that Mike ever did.
