I want to form a DU Risk League

I know POGO has Risk Online that we can do league play. I think it would be fun to play world domination with a bunch of anti-war liberals.

And btw, you folks can't beat me - i'm the best!

Who wants to form a Risk League?

1. I'm in and I call Australia.

2. I've been playing Risk on my Iphone - I can win starting with any country...

except Asia or Europe. Europe is actually the worst - too many points of entry. Asia is easier as long as you have the Ukraine from Europe.

3. South America works too, only two ways in.

In some ways it's better than Australia, especially when you have 3,000 strong armies glaring at each other across the Straits of Malaya.

5. But North America is an overlooked gem

Only 3 ways in and you get 5 points if you can secure it. And what's nice is you have good buffers thru the South American and European connections since Venezuela and Iceland only connect to one county in their continents.

I've been unable to find a full game of Risk anywhere online for free. My favorite board game ever!!

Just about an hour ago, I was thinking about Risk. Haven't played it since college (20 years ago), but I loved it. No idea why it came to mind. I am SOOO psychic! :tinfoilhat:

How exactly would that work? Would it be played in real time so the whole group would have to be on at the same time? I would certainly like to try it.
