Best computer external speakers for music

I have pro equiptment for recording music, including good powered moniters. ( You get used to listening to music on the good stuff) But I want some speakers that are good to go in any room where the laptop is. No time, too lazy to research. thanks. (We have one mac and one pc lying around the house.)

4. I bought some Logitech speakers from Staples

a few years back. For the money (around $40) I think they sound great. I'm sure you can spend way more money, but why?
