Saturday night - Live Rolling Stones from long ago...
Edited on Sat Mar-19-11 03:23 PM by old mark
1971, live in London- "Live With Me"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lC2cxkk40hg-

Great Bill Wyman bass line, superb Bobby Keys sax...

1969, live from Hyde Park..."Honky Tonk Woman"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5e1_K-JDfOk

This is the first Stones concert in the 2 years since the death of Brian Jones, and the first with Mick Taylor on guitar...Again with great bass by Bill Wyman.

1966 (?) from British TV program, Ready,Steady,Go "I Am Waiting"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLr4rEQ4LMU&feature=related

Brian Jones on dulcimer, Keith on acoustic Gibson, more great Wyman bass on a Vox Teardrop...fine, little-remembered song.

OK, now go out and play...come home safe.

1. I was a teenager in 60's UK
RSG was must-see-tv Friday evening viewing. Their catch phrase was 'the weekend starts here'. I saw all the shows, the one that really stands out to me was when The Animals debuted "House of the Rising Sun'. I was totally blown away.
