Rudy was on station in the front window this morning, barking at the neighbors as they went in and out. He was in rare form- this used to be Blondie's thing, but he took over when she left us. Gracie was dancing around the room having fun, but when Rudy started barking she joined him at the window and before you know it she was barking at those horrible strangers too!

It's a relief, really- it's the first noise she's made since joining us. I was starting to wonder.

1. i didn't know my goofy little kitty could talk until i stepped on her tail
and that was several months after i got her. i've had her for 5 1/2 years and it's only been within the last six months or so that she's started talking to us on a regular basis. of course, regular basis means maybe one mew every few days, but she does like to sit in the bathroom and talk to herself sometimes.
