Okay...the F**ing Shit Got to me. I have old VHS of "Young Sherlock"...I'm Done!

We got together tonight and said "We've HAD ENOUGH" time to go out in out of space to "comfort zone..entertainment."

What are you all doing to ESCAPE! Some good stuff that many of us might have Missed? A "probe" into the minds of what DU'ers are "into?"

Good Movies for ESCAPISM is what I'm asking. Not heavy...thought provoking in and "obvious way" ...something that is GROUNDED!

What are YOU doing to ESCAPE ...If it's Movies...looking to restore your "Grounding Point?"

(Don't give me fitness movies ....we were walking miles today....and are exhausted from trying to work out the malevolent energy by EXERCISE. Both of us need FANTASY...GROUNDED or GREAT HUMOR...

I'm asking too much...but WHAT ARE YOU ALL WATCHING to SURVIVE...or EVEN READING IN BOOKS?

BTW...I'm gone til tomorrow where I hope to get some good stuff from DU'ers to keep me going in the weeks ahead. I'm a Netflix Subscriber......so there.. (yeah...corporatist) ...but if I can order or watch...it's good for sanity to "chill out" and do something else. I have to go to work at 9:00 next a.m. Yeah...I know...there are folks here without jobs..and those who work all night and all day who have little "time offs." ...But WE ALL NEED A BREAK SOME TIME! Don't we? :shrug:

1. BTW...Some faves of mine as a DU "F**ing Retard" are any new versions of Dickens Mini-Series...

Bleak House, Old Curiosity Shop, David Copperfield, Little Doritt, Great Expectations and the rest of the NEW Series which appeals more to today than the older versions.

And..."What about Bob" and "Pretty in Pink" and the "Breakfast Club" (yeah...I know) and anything from the 80's Movies by John Hughes...NOSTALGIA.

Back to the past for me. The PRESENT is too HORRIFIC!

I also liked C.S. Lewis...and maybe a revisit of ALL the HARRY POTTER stuff.......and Knights of Rountable and "Lord of Rings" and old version of "Lion, Witch and Wardrobe" and even Mr. Rogers Series!

Gotta have GROUNDING...and a Morality/sense of Spirituality......SOMETHING to grab hold onto in these changing, fluctuating times.
