3. I've always loved the way he sang the phrase ...

"food money". To me, Combat Rock has always been an underrated album. I listen to it almost as much as London Calling.

4. The problem with Combat Rock was the 2 overly commericalized songs

I mean "Should I Stay" and "Rock the Casbash" are good songs but they were overplayed on the newly created MTV. But the album overall is killer and includes probably one of my favorite all time Clash songs "Car Jamming".

It was the 5th album I ever own and I loved it :D

LOVE The Clash; never got to see them but at least I got to see Joe Strummer and The Mescaleros. Still not the Clash, but pretty damn good anyway. Strummer was mesmerizing, even in his 40's...
