Once in DC, I and two women were holding a "die-in" on the Ellipse (this was waaaaaay before Nineleven), where the anti-choicers had set up their bogus "Cemetery of the Innocent". :puke:
Then the glorified park rangers came by. They actually stepped over my male self in order to harass the tow women! :wow:

4. 1961? But not arrested. |
|
Only time I've been 'in jail'. I would have been about 20. My buddy was arrested for DUI and his car impounded. I was about as wasted as he was, but I wasn't driving. The cops in a small suburb of Birmingham, Alabama were very nice to both of us.
Since I had no way to get home, they let me spend the night in a separate cell from the drunk tank and left the door open. Even brought me breakfast the next morning. Room service!
We became friends with the arresting officer, who wasn't much older than us. :-)
