The very night before my doctor told me I could no longer drink. I bought a bottle of white zinfandel the previous day and downed that sucker so I could get a good night's sleep. Needless to say, my neighbors told me I was funny as hell. I told them I couldn't stay awake. Yes, I did wake up hung over.

I'm a sleepy drunk, thank God, instead of a belligerent one. :toast: When I've had one, or a few, too many, all I want to do is hit the sack and sleep it off. :hangover:

I had such a whopping hangover and headache from what I dubbed The Great White Wine Disaster that my stomach would lurch at the mere scent of alcohol for days afterwards.

Since then, I've maintained a strict two-drink limit.
