1. leave?
Best answer I've found when I ended up there.

Just dont go east. All the good stuff is west. East is Idaho, and that's scaryish territory.

20. NE of Phoenix
Kidding, but we do got a Roosevelt Dam here.

I actually never heard of Roosevelt Dam in Washington but I know Steamboat Rock State Park is near the center in Washington, north of Yakima. If you need further instructions, I imagine the state park has a website for directions.

24. It's actually Grand Coulee dam
but I genreally think of it as Roosevelt dam because there's a bust of FDR at the dam. The town is called Electric City. It's worth seeing. Built by Woody Guthrie.

Lived in the Tacoma area 2 out of 3 years and the view from there is a magnificent. Though when I saw a History Channel documentary, you don't want to be in the Tacoma area when that thing blows. :scared:

grand coulee. Nice light show, and a real tribute to the Depression WPA. Makes you proud to be an American (we can pull together type stuff) and very proud to be a Dem.

They have nightly shows, iirc.
