3. Change purses come in all shapes.
No two are exactly alike, so I am told. Yours is leather? It looks very supple.

8. It's deerskin.
According to my brother, it's also Native American made :)

It is very soft, though I have had to reglue the inner layer a couple of times. No big deal, as that part is necessary to keeping it flat (and not poking into your leg) even when you have several dollars' worth of change in it.

9. It's very cool.
Does it stay closed? I assume it has some sort of memory to stay shut but when I think of deerskin I think of very soft hand gloves.

11. Yeah, it stays shut.
It's just creased right, and then folded like origami. Perhaps the weight of the top edges help it close down and remain that way :)
