Due to an unexpected windfall, I can at last afford to replace my nearly worn-out suitcases.
I am interested in a 25" bag for checking and a 21-22" carry-on. To avoid overweight fees at check-in and for easy lifting on the plane, I'm very interested in the brands that have a lightweight line. Alas, I can't afford the deluxe brands like Victorinox, as I'm looking to spend about $250 total on both bags.
The Delsey brand looks pretty good, but I thought I'd toss the question here to add another layer to my research.
SO, DU travelers, any advice for me on good, but not exorbitantly priced, lightweight luggage?
