I need to find my credit rating.

Anyone know a good site thats either FREE or small fee with NO STRINGS ATTACHED.

I've been to three sites that offer FREE CREDIT REPORTs but they all have a hitch to 'em. You find out at the end after loading all the info in. ( E.G> YOu have to cancel your "membership" within 7 days or they start taking 14$ per month off your card. Bleep that.)

There must be a hitch-less way to get this done. No?

2. Do you get the credit rating number there? Or just what is on the

report as far as what credit cards, loans, etc. and your payment history?

The only place I have ever gotten my actual number is when I have applied for a loan.

You can get one free report from each of the "Big 3" (Equifax, Experian, TransUnion) every twelve months. The key is that you do not need to get all of your reports at the same time--you can get one from one of the agencies now, then a few months later get one from one of the others, etc.

Of course, you can get them all in one go, if you need to.
