Computer/ YouTube video question |
|
My wife will be attending a club meeting soon, and there's a YouTube video that she would like to share and discuss at the meeting with her group. She has a laptop, but at the location where they meet there is no internet service.
Is there any way the YouTube video can be saved and watched later without needing internet connection?
As you can guess, neither of us have a lot of computer saavy.
Thanks.

There is a program out there called JDownloader which can extract a YouTube video (or just the audio stream if you want) so you can save it on your hard drive.
I use it often to convert YouTube videos into MP3 files.

do a search in the computer forum or maybe try google with "download you tube videos" You will have to install something on your computer so make sure somebody trustworthy (DU computer gurus for example) say it is ok.
