Friday's NCAA Tournament (Sweet Sixteen) Thread

Four good games last night, and four more regional semifinals tonight:

7:15 PM (11) Marquette vs. (2) North Carolina CBS
7:27 PM (12) Richmond vs. (1) Kansas TBS
9:45 PM (4) Kentucky vs. (1) Ohio State CBS
9:57 PM (11) Virginia Commonwealth vs. (10) Florida State TBS

So who will win tonight, DU? What games are you looking forward to?

1. I'll go out on a limb and say all four lower seeds win

2. Lol. That would be awesome. Especially Kansas losing to a 12 seed.

I would laugh and laugh and laugh.

However, I gotta say, I think it much more likely that all the top seeds will win. Kansas and OSU are powerhouses. Marquette's good, but doesn't have the stuff to beat North Carolina. And I think VCU's about run its course.

That said, if I had to bet on any upsets, I'd go with VCU and Kentucky.

3. yeah, Kansas and UNC are already rolling

Of course, I picked Kansas to win it all, so I'm not really surprised ... but, ah, wishful thinking :)

4. Come on Richmond!!

They are getting nice player movement but the passes are either late or not attempted. Plus their shots aren't falling while Kansas is hitting theirs

10. Can't decide what to watch

Normally the choice is easy but I expect Kentucky-OSu and VCU-FSU to be really good games.

Ohio State had a good run but now Kentucky has battled back ...

The Seminoles just can't seem to find the hole. I they can find some touch, they aren't out of it.

Most of the time it's been within two points either way. Great back and forth. Now it's tied again :bounce:

I don't think the clock started until he got to half court.

Anyway, three-point game with about 34 seconds left ... great game.
