Your best costume (Halloween/ball). On a bus tour of europe we were told

there would be a costume party and we had to make our costumes out of the clothes we had and 1 garbage bag. I happened to have black leggins and robin hood boots. So I went as robin hood. I made the tunic & the hat out of the garbager bag. I strung a coat hanger across my back (as a bow & arrow). I came in second I think.

Won EVERY single bar contest. Until I got to Tucson. Didn't even PLACE. I retired.

Twice, I heard older women (probably Mom's) ask the younger woman with them (probably
daughter), "Why's everybody LAUGHING at that big mushroom?"

One woman, for YEARS afterward, whenEVER I walked into a bar where she was already
drinking (non-Halloween time), no matter how quiet, would shout, "IT'S THE BIG DICK!!!"

I would walk to my seat, nodding to everyone while humbly acknowledging my identity.

It was actually inspired by the first short story I ever had published -- about getting into
a bar conversation with the 7-foot penis seated on the barstool next to me.

I was SO proud!!! When I showed it to MiddleFingerMomMom, she read about two paragraphs into
the story, set the book down, patted it and said, "I'll just read this later."
