Hi everyone. I hope you all are doing well on this early spring day.

I started my new job last week driving what's called a conventainer truck or a lugger truck. It looks like this:

That's a model, but it looks almost exactly like the truck I'm driving now. I haul mostly scrap metal, but I also haul cardboard and trash sometimes. I'm in training right now and that truck is a lot different than what I'm used to driving. I'll probably be in training for another week. It's a lot more physical, a lot more work outside of the truck, and the truck is harder to drive. But it's first shift, I haven't gone more than 10 miles outside of town, and I am home every day. The benefits aren't bad either.

Here's my truck, the one for sale:

I just got it washed and I cleared all of my stuff out of it and cleaned the interior today. I've got it on craigslist and I've written to a local truck dealer about it. No bites yet, but it's just been a couple of days.

That's the news from Lake Truckbegone. What's happening where you are?

1. Lake Truckbegone! Hahaha!
I'm afraid I can't help you with the truck, but I love the name. Good luck with getting it sold, Tobin.

3. It might move a little faster with spinners.
Maybe some of those curb feelers and neon ground effects. Has it got nitrous?

Seriously, Good Luck, and Congratulations on all the new stuff going on with ya!

5. Good luck Tobin
I hope the truck sells quickly.

Glad to hear you're home every night.

Drop us a line and let us know how you're doing and let's set up a time to get together this summer. D's scheduled for another round of surgery late May IF things heal properly and tests are favourable from the last surgery.

6. Hey there
Hi Tobin,
Always enjoy your posts. I'm glad you have found a new job where you are able to be home much more. Sorry I don't have any leads on selling the truck. Keep in touch with us all here in the lounge.

Peace
