for me. Tell me how bad it is for me. I need all the encouragement I can get and I know diet soda is bad for you, I just don't know why exactly.

2. The worst thing about it is the way the empties accumulate.
Otherwise no negatives at all.

4. I drink seltzer water with fruit essences.
.
.
.
Not club soda -- that has added salts. Arrowhead makes a really tasty pomegranate/lime flavor.
.
.
Though I've found really good and CHEAP generic flavors, too.
.
.
I still get the carbonation (scrubbin' bubbles... ESPECIALLY in the morning),
but there's no worries about artificial sweeteners.
.
.
Of course, some say that the carbonation itself is also bad for you.
.
.
But it might be a good compromise for you

5. A lot of people think Nutrasweet is a neurotoxin.
Personally, I dunno if it is or not, but I figure every little bit you can keep out of your body is a good thing. Also, I'd think you will sleep SO much better if you aren't putting all the caffeine into your system!

6. Have a beer.
Since the days of the ancient Egyptians it's been mankind's drink of choice.

7. Diet Coke is okay ... add a couple of shots of bourbon and it'll be better.
And won't keep you awake ...

:hi:

8. you'll sleep better
in my younger days i didn't realize some of the diet colas had caffeine in them, i think it contributed to my chronic pain because i never slept deeply

when i gave it up i actually stopped having the pain, and i'd been having that pain for 20 years so i thought it wasn't even possible not to be in pain

i gave up coffee as well but eventually could drink coffee again, only in the mornings tho
