What music are you listening to today?
I have the New Releases stream from AOL Music on - and am listening to Kina Grannis's Stairwells. This stuff is right up my alley - it is excellent! Reminds me of Michelle Branch and Vanessa Carlton, both of whom I'm a fan of - she's a better singer than Vanessa, though. Her music has a lot of acoustics and raw emotion.

1. I get on kicks - a few months ago all I was listening to was early Pretenders...
I have a thing for James Honeyman Scott, and his jingly jangly Rickenbacker peal the paint off the wall guitar solos.

Past six days, it's been all Talking Heads.

I don't know why...

9. Britney "Femme Fatale"
Her new CD is great. Stand outs are: "I Wanna Go," "Criminal," "How I Roll," and the bonus song on Deluxe version "Selfish."

Been listening some older songs too like Mandy Moore "Crush," and "Something Kinda Ooooh," Girls Aloud.

13. I like "Inside Out" too
I have a feeling it might be a single.

There's not really a bad song on the CD. Not a big fan of "Big Fat Bass," but don't hate it either. The beat is cool but I don't love the song as a whole.

14. You nailed it on BFB
Edited on Tue Apr-05-11 10:53 PM by bigwillq
I thought that would be the song I would like the most since it featured will-i-am. Britney-Will, together. Was looking forward to the pairing, and I thought it would have a sick beat.
The beat is ok, so are the lyrics, but it could've been a much better song.

Best CD of Britney's career. "Big Fat Bass" is the only song I don't care for. The CD has those electro-beats, but this time with a good deal of pop sensability.

17. Got a couple new ones:
Daniel Tosh - Happy Thoughts - I am a huge fan of Tosh.0, and this CD certainly doesn't disappoint.

Blackfield - Welcome To My DNA - Not as good as the first two, but I'll pretty much buy anything Steven Wilson releases.

The Strokes - Angles - I heard this at a friend's house and downloaded it off iTunes the next day. Great album.

Radiohead - The King Of Limbs - I'm a big Radiohead fan but I don't get where they're going with this album.
