Edited on Thu Apr-07-11 08:41 PM by Taverner
Topped only by the Albert Hall Bootleg show...

I mean - EVERY FREAKIN SONG on this album isn't just good, in a 'yeah I could listen to that again' good but a 'FUCK I HAFTA PLAY THAT OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN' kinda way

My favorite? This Wheel's on Fire

3. For some reason, the Dylan album I listened to over and over was...
John Wesley Harding.

Saint Augustine's Dream

Over and over and over...

4. Have you ever heard the other volume of Basement Tapes?
It is great as well, though the volume you posted the picture from is better, IMHO.

6. What's cool about it, among other things, is
that there are a few songs that are the embryonic stage of more polished versions on the more well-known volume.

8. Fantastic album
its version of This Wheels on Fire is the best recorded, even better than the one on Big Pink
