2. You wanna know seriesly?
I'm a skinny waif who runs, cycles, but has almost no muscle tone. My larger friends are far more muscular than I because they actually get resistance training when they move!!! :crazy:

Society worships unhealthy weights, especially for women, who need some substance for pregnancy, and when we're older, to ward off osteoporosis. I think muscle-to-fat ratio is a lot more important than the numbers on a scale.

The same as doing curls. Hell, I started out at 8oz and now I'm up to 24 oz.

9. in a sense, yes
I did one of those Biggest Loser videos that was rated Intermediate / Advanced - I thought, yeah right, because all the people on it were overweight. But I was surprised just how strong those folk were. Carrying around weight does make your legs strong, but eventually it's just overload on the knees.
