1. Walnuts.
I usually have a big bag lying around from God-knows how many years ago. I'll dip into it until I get the bad walnut and then I go to the store.

Great survey question!

4. I'll eat Ramen happily
Cheap, and it works. Only the Oriental flavor works for me though, no animal cruelty I kinda work on a half diet anyways. I don't need to eat everyday, I just balance activities with diet, and life is grand.

Eat to live, as they say.

5. Flavored glue...
...which is how my mom refers to the 4lb tub of red licorice she bequeathed me and sits now on one of my shelves.

It has no nutritional value. It barely tastes like anything, but God how I love it. My God I do so love it.

8. Mustard, right out of the jar
It helps, of course, if I've had a few drinks first. Then I can almost pretend it qualifies as dinner. And if I've had a few drinks I WANT to eat mustard right out of the jar. Which is a good argument for Not Having A Few Drinks.

The worst thing I ever ate though was when I was stoned. Nothing to eat and, of course I couldn't drive to the store. So I ate half a can of Crisco. It tasted great at the time, which is a pretty good argument for Not Smoking Pot.

An interesting drug -induced culinary experience was when my roomate and I did LSD and decided to taste everything in the kitchen. Funnily enough, stuff like fresh vegetables were orgasmicly wonderful, while stuff like Cap'n Crunch and Cheese Whiz were so unutterably disgusting we couldn't stand it. Which is a good argument for Dropping Acid Before Sitting Down For Dinner.

When sober (which, surprisingly, is 99.9 percent of the time) I'll still go for the mustard.

Khash.

21. Get plain PB with no sugar
The kind where the oil is separated on top when you open it. I recommend Laura Scudder's brand. I eat LOTS of it. Can't stand Jif and Peter Pan and that ilk.
