a certain DU user? Is there a way to follow someone or to go back and see a post they made that you liked?

1. You can type their name in the search box top right hand corner of the page

by the gold key. Any posts with their name will pop up.

You can also go to the forum listing ( click on "The DU Lounge" for instance) and then click on the "author" heading, all posts will show up in alphabetical order by the author.
Or you can click on "start time" if you have a rough idea of the date to look for.

Don't forget to click again on "click here to return to default view" so the posts are again listed by date and time.

2. how recent?

If it is very recent, you can sort posts by author and recent posts will be listed in alphabetical order by posters name.

Which allows you to include screen name in the search criteria.
