What should I read next? Science fiction or non-fiction? |
|
I'm either going to dive back into the Foundation series by Asimov or read Democracy Matters by Cornel West.
What say you guys?

I read two books at once by having one as my "home" book and one as my "road" book (I use public transportation and I also read during my breaks at work).
But if you're only going to read one, I recommend West (without having read it myself). Otherwise you won't get to it for quite awhile. Foundation is a mother.

2. That is very true. Foundation is quite a tall order. |
|
I might read Democracy Matters first.
I can't really read both because I'm already reading several other books for classes.

4. What was the last book you read? |

I tend to alternate fiction (with my tastes, usually SF or fantasy) and non-fiction.

Illum and Olympus by Dan Simmons practically covers Sci-fi AND fantasy. Currently I'm also addicted to The Dark Tower series by Stephan King (I keep want to reread parts of it)and for non-fiction--I'm reading Battle Hymm of the Tiger Mother, a story about a Chinese American woman raising her kids. She's kind of evil, but they turned out ok.
