Funny story
Edited on Wed Apr-13-11 12:31 AM by RandomThoughts
I am playing one of those games where there are timers that count down on screen when you build things.

The timers run slower for 17 minutes, then speed back up to balance in another 17 minutes.

That is a simulation of a 34 minute orbit, fast enough to create +- one second per minute in effect.

Someone created a computer game, and either put it on a satalite, or is simulating that effect with the timer speeds.

I would guess it is a simulated effect, since adjusting for that effect would seem to be something a system would do.

Basically I am playing a computer game that is either running on a satellite going fast enough for a relativistic effect of 1 second per minute, at maximum, -1 second per minute at minimum.

Or my PC is on the satellite.

Or the effect is simulated.

Side note, a company once said it was putting its systems on a boat at sea, that may have been saying they were being moved to an orbiting system.

So some group that is using advanced label trap for harassment, and modifications to information systems is either satellite based in 34 minute orbit, or simulating that. Or my computer is on satellite.

heh, location can be deduced by time shift, versus speed 0

that is funny

And I am due beer and travel money and many experiences.

1. A 34 minute orbit? Have you considered that this object may not be orbiting Earth?
An orbital period that short would be too low to be stable. Perhaps the game designers are hinting that you yourself are not on Earth, or this isn't Earth but rather somewhere else?

2. I am discussing the visible action

Game is War2Glory, and player names use many labels that correlate to things observational in real life, or my PC has 'noun' substitution program running.

three possibilities

my PC clock is running in an orbit around the game clock.

Or the game clock is running in an orbit around my system clock.

Or some system between me and that system is modifying clock in relative orbit from my position.

Or it is a simulated effect.

as far as who is orbiting who, and what things are orbited, or orbiting, that is not determined by that information.

However that simulated data, or observational data indicates a phenomenon that would match an item in a 34 minute orbit, at speed differential to create a 1 second per minute loss/gain at orbital maximum minimum differential speeds. Since clocks go faster and slower, and that makes sense based on calculation of relativistic shift as explained in article on finding zero speed to deduce calculation.

I do not assume the locations, just matching the effect to what it indicates, either real or simulated.

Although I can find location relative to my position.

And I am due beer and travel money, and many experiences.

3. The fascinating part
and why I think it is a simulation.

Is I can see the clocks in the flash player running at different speeds.

For that to happen, the code updating them would have to be on a different location.

So my computer would be a view, into a pc running on that other location. Or not on my PC, but on another PC like remote computing.

I have considered, since the cable company sent out a guy to install a 'special modem' that my computer is actually a view into another system it is actually running on.

So the process running that game is not on my computer, but actually on another computer simulating an orbit, or in orbit.

Or it is connected to game server with updates at least every second, not a smart use of bandwidth for a computer game.

4. And that is the 'new McCarthism'
Where the information systems I have access through are not running in 'same internet' as other Internets.

Why Bush used plural when discussing Internet years ago. "the Internets" may have been a leak, may have been a inside joke.

because there are pockets to isolate population.

Of coarse it could be said this forum is in same isolated area also, and stuff I post here is then used against people, not by its intent.

thereby calling wrath down on the individuals doing that.

So it makes a great puzzle, if nothing else.

Also the meaning of Quantum pockets from First Wave, I would guess. However many of those systems, using 1984 George Orwell system, are to try and identify those that are able to see some of the stuff going on, to put them on some list.

I consider it a table set.

That the best you can do, you pansies.

And the smears are used against many people with such systems, it only shows how easily the bad side fools most into going after people innocent. On that note, most of us may have sometimes been fooled into going after people fighting for us, by 'systems'. that is why support of concepts not people is best. Since much of what is 'shown' is backwards to smear those working for better, and help those on the wrong side of issues.

And I am due beer and travel money and many experiences.
