Wow, Walmart sent me a $5 gift card to spent at the new Walmart by my house.
The card came in the mail.

I will give it to my neighbor who could use the money.

2. She can buy some food with it.
The new Walmart was build in a flood zone.

What once was open field is now store and parking lot.

4. Silber flooded before the Walmart.
To bad for the neighborhoods near by.

There is even a new Chase bank there.

5. Is that around where the Meca center is?
I used to go over there once a month when I volunteered with Urban Harvest. I remember how low White Oak Blvd. got in some places...

6. It is by the Edwards movie theater on I-10 in Spring Branch.
That area flooded before the I-10 expansion.

Now what little bare ground there was is cement.

I was on a bus once that started to float going down Silber during a heavy rain.

The bus wheels found some traction and we got out of there.

There is very little open space left along the Katy Freeway except for the two graveyards.

8. The paper it was mailed on said it was printed in the USA.
Pretty sad when you have to pay people to shop in your store.
